Appointment
Joined Melrose Industries Plc as Chief Operating Officer in 2018 and became Chief Executive Officer of GKN Aerospace in October 2023.

Experience
Peter is CEO of GKN Aerospace and Chief Operating Officer of Melrose Industries plc.  Prior to this, he was the Chief Executive Officer of international recycling company Renewi plc (formerly Shanks Group plc). Before joining Shanks Group, he was a senior executive at Danaher Corporation, a leading global industrial business listed on the NYSE and also spent seven years at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) based in both London and Chicago, working primarily with industrial businesses. He has an engineering and aviation background, and was a helicopter pilot in the British Armed Forces.  Peter is the Senior Independent Director of Rotork plc and also sits on the Board of Trustees of Autistica.
