Overview

In 2015, the United Nations set out 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that call on government, businesses, and related stakeholders, to act on the biggest issues facing people and the planet by 2030.

Using the SDGs as a guide, we mapped the challenges facing society against our business capabilities to understand how we can make the greatest difference. This led to the development of our five over-arching sustainability workstreams.

Ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all.

  • Enhancing scientific reseach regarding sustainability and support sustainable technology development

  • Work with the local Women’s Networks on empowering women.
  • Organize Girls in Engineering days.
  • Create partnerships with organizations that advocate women empowerment.
  • Understand what the culture on promotions is and whether there are unconscious biases in new hires.
